When our client first approached us, they were clear about one thing – they didn't want a bathroom that could be easily replicated. They were looking for a truly individual space packed with personality, featuring multiple standout elements rather than relying on a single statement piece. With our extensive range of bespoke products and design options, creating something unique was exactly the kind of challenge we love.
At 2.5m x 3.5m, the room offered a good footprint, but the brief was ambitious: deliver as much visual impact as possible while maintaining a cohesive and luxurious feel throughout. Every design decision was carefully considered to ensure the space felt special from every angle.
The project started with the client's choice of a stunning metallic-effect indigo feature tile. Rich in colour and texture, this tile immediately became the driving force behind the entire scheme. Installed behind the double basin area and continued into the rear of the recessed niches, it creates dramatic focal points that instantly draw the eye and give the room its distinctive character.
To balance the boldness of the feature wall, we selected a subtle chalk-effect porcelain tile for both the walls and floors. The understated finish provides the perfect backdrop, allowing the indigo metallic tones to take centre stage while maintaining a sophisticated and timeless aesthetic.
A bathroom of this calibre deserved furniture designed specifically for the space. We commissioned a bespoke double-basin vanity unit, colour matched and crafted to complement the feature tiles, creating a seamless flow across the room. Additional storage was provided through a matching wall-mounted unit, ensuring practicality without compromising the clean design.The finished bathroom is a perfect example of how bespoke design, carefully selected materials and thoughtful planning can transform a relatively compact room into a truly exceptional space. From the metallic indigo feature wall to the custom furniture and made-to-measure shower enclosure, every element was chosen to ensure this bathroom feels completely unique to its owners and unlike anything found in a showroom catalogue.
