This beautiful bathroom was designed for a client who loved the timeless appeal of a traditional bathroom but also wanted the convenience and accessibility of a modern walk-in shower. Measuring 2.5m x 2.9m, the room offered enough space to blend classic styling with practical everyday use.

The design journey began with the floor tile selection. The client fell in love with a striking encaustic-style patterned floor tile, which became the focal point and inspiration for the entire scheme. To complement this stronger pattern, we selected soft-toned traditional metro wall tiles, creating a balanced and elegant backdrop that allows the floor to take centre stage without overwhelming the room.

With storage available in an adjacent room, there was no need to fill the space with fitted furniture. Instead, we made the design decision to incorporate a decorative basin stand, enhancing the traditional character of the room while helping to maintain an open and spacious feel.

When it came to the finishing touches, we explored a wide range of options before quickly agreeing that classic chrome was the perfect choice. Its timeless appearance works beautifully alongside the traditional fixtures and finishes, providing a clean and polished look throughout.

One of the most impressive aspects of this project is that it was completed on a tighter budget, with less than £5,000 allocated for all bathroom products and tiles. Through careful product selection and thoughtful design, we were able to create a bathroom that feels elegant, practical and high-end without exceeding the client's budget.

The result is a welcoming space that successfully combines traditional charm with modern-day functionality, delivering a bathroom that will look stylish for years to come.
